Assembly Approves Municipality Board Nominees
The County Assembly of Kakamega has unanimously approved the nomination of members to the boards of Matunda, Malava and Butere Municipalities.
The approval followed hearings conducted by the Committee on Appointments. The committee’s report was tabled during a special sitting and adopted by the House.
According to the report, the nominees fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution, demonstrated relevant competencies, and met the necessary academic and professional thresholds.
