Shikuku Reveals His Plan for Likuyani
Likuyani Member of Parliament aspirant Hon. Deberious Shikuku Wafula has unveiled his development blueprint for the constituency under the slogan #InawezekanaNaShikuku.
The plan is built around three main pillars:
1. Education & Human Capital
Shikuku has placed education as the number-one NG-CDF priority. His proposals include modern classrooms, laboratories, libraries, improved sanitation, transparent bursaries, skills and TVET training, as well as support for youth to access driving licences and road-safety training.
2. Infrastructure, Opportunity & Community Empowerment
He says roads will be prioritised according to residents’ needs rather than political interests. The plan also focuses on directing NG-CDF resources to critical local infrastructure, creating opportunities for youth and women, and linking empowerment programmes to jobs and skills instead of one-off handouts.
3. Security, Representation & Accountability
Shikuku has promised to push for better security resources and staffing in Likuyani, decentralise NG-CDF citizen service offices, hold regular public forums, track government projects and report regularly to wananchi on what has been delivered.
The aspirant says his focus is on transparent, accountable and people-centred leadership.
