Chepkaka Transformer Materials Delivered – 168 Households in Likuyani Set for Electricity Connection
Likuyani – Area MP Hon. Innocent Mugabe has announced that electrical materials for the maximization of the Chepkaka transformer have now been delivered.
This development paves the way for 168 households in the area to be connected to the national grid.
In a statement on his official Facebook page, the MP said the move is part of the ongoing Nurugizani Electrification Program, which aims to expand access to electricity, drive socio-economic growth, and reduce energy poverty across Likuyani Constituency.
The program has previously seen the maximization of several transformers in different wards, with households being connected in phases.
Questions on the ground:
When will the actual connection of these 168 households be completed?
How many more transformers under the Nurugizani program are still awaiting materials?
Electricity remains a major challenge in many parts of Likuyani, especially in rural areas. This latest step is expected to bring immediate relief to families, businesses, and students in the Chepkaka area.
Likuyani Digest will continue following the progress of the Nurugizani Electrification Program and other development initiatives in the constituency.
