LINDA Party Approved Shortly After Linda Mwananchi Rejection
A new political outfit, LINDA Party (full name: Liberty National Democratic Alliance), has cleared a major hurdle at the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties.
Speaking outside the Registrar’s offices, party founder and leader announced that the party’s name, manifesto, ideology, constitution and nomination rules have been approved.
The leader said the party was founded in 2024 and is now on the path to full registration. The party’s slogan is “Lead a Kenya” and it is linked to the “Leader Kenya / Linda Movement.”
The development comes shortly after the Registrar rejected the Linda Mwananchi party associated with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.
The similar branding and close timing have raised questions among political observers.
